Marshall Field’s department store purchased Frederick & Nelson in 1929 and brought Frango Chocolate to Chicago. Soon, department store outings in Chicago weren't complete without enjoying Frango.
With a passion for championing Chicago’s legacy brands, family-owned Garrett Brands purchased Frango Chocolate in 2017.
In 2023, Frango Chocolate unveiled new ready-to-gift boxes for its beloved recipes, Milk Chocolate Mint and Mint Chocolate Trio. We look forward to inspiring new traditions and special memories for generations to come.
