Favorite part of being a mom? My favorite part of being a mom is that I get to be surrounded by the energy and positivity my kids bring to each day. Their happiness and enthusiasm begin as soon as they open their eyes in the morning. It is a great example of how to approach life. I am so thankful for my two lovely children Liam and Jade.

Special Mother’s Day tradition? I love reading the cards my girls make for me and putting on one of any number of various pasta/crafted necklaces they have given me over the years. They like seeing me wear or display the things they have made for me, and I love showing off their creations. 😊

Most memorable Mom moment? When Haley stood in front of a room of 500 people and told her ‘story’. My proudest moment was when she stated “If my journey brings awareness to Pediatric Cancer then it is worth it.”

Most memorable Mom moment? My 2-year-old had an epic meltdown, like, had to physically restrain her to make sure she didn’t hurt herself – all over having her diaper changed. I stayed calm and just kept her safe until she could calm down and when she finally did, she said ‘Mom, I need help with my diaper’. It was a powerful moment for me because it showed me that even though sometimes in the moment when I’m trying to follow all the books and rules and I’m questioning myself, being calm and present for her really is working and giving her what she needs.
